In the competitive renewable energy market, scaling up production for high-efficiency solar cells and EV batteries requires a robust Ultra-High Purity (UHP) Liquid Chemical Delivery System (CDS). A Jewellok-engineered CDS provides the “high-volume backbone” needed for these massive production lines. By utilizing 316L electropolished stainless steel with a 5Ra internal finish, the system ensures that bulk etchants and electrolytes are transported from storage to the factory floor with zero particle shedding. This “contamination-free” path is vital for maintaining parts-per-trillion (ppt) purity levels across thousands of gallons of fluid.
Implementation focuses on PLC-controlled automation to manage the continuous, high-speed flow required for 24/7 manufacturing. To handle the hazardous nature of PV chemicals, the system integrates secondary containment and Nitrogen (N2) blanketing, ensuring that volatile solvents remain stable and safe. By bridging the gap between bulk storage and point-of-use modules, a UHP CDS implementation allows renewable energy plants to achieve 99.9% operational uptime, ensuring that the high-volume output of green technology never sacrifices quality for speed.
