For aggressive acids like Hydrofluoric (HF), custom engineering often utilizes PFA-lined piping or high-grade 316L electropolished stainless steel to prevent corrosion and metallic ion leaching. In the case of volatile solvents, the CDS integrates Nitrogen (N2) blanketing to maintain an inert atmosphere within storage tanks, significantly reducing the risk of combustion or oxidation.
The “intelligence” of a custom Jewellok CDS lies in its automated safety infrastructure. Every system features secondary containment—a “pipe-within-a-pipe” or “cabinet-within-a-cabinet” design—paired with high-sensitivity leak detection sensors. Managed by a centralized PLC (Programmable Logic Controller), the system can trigger an immediate automated shutdown of pneumatic valves if a leak or pressure spike is detected. This tailored approach to fluid management ensures that even the most dangerous chemicals are delivered with 99.9% uptime, protecting both the high-value manufacturing yield and the cleanroom environment.
